Panel 1:
Two skeletons - an Ashen Crewmember (JAKE) and a skeleton with a caved-in skull - walk along a beach in the Devil's Roar. The atmosphere is heavy and oppressive, with smoke and lava all around. The skeletons don't seem to mind, though.
Collapsed Skull Skeleton: Did you see that some stupid pirates resurrected Captain Flameheart?
Jake: Aw, man!
Jake: I can't stand that guy!
Panel 2:
Jake leans in towards the Collapsed Skull Skeleton as he complains about Flameheart.
Jake: He's so melodramatic. He's tacky, he has no taste, and his breath stinks...
Interrupting voice: AHEM
Panel 3:
The Ashen Crewmember points over his shoulder as he faces the Collapsed Skull Skeleton. A giant bearded skull wearing a captain's cap floats in the sky behind them.
Jake: ...he's right behind me, isn't he?
Collapsed Skull Skeleton: Well, yeah.
Collapsed Skull Skeleton: He's a giant glowing skull.
Collapsed Skull Skeleton: Kinda hard to miss.
Let it be known that the creators of Skeleton Crew do not share Jake the Ashen Crewmember's views, and that we welcome our new giant glowing skull overlord.
